The guests included officials from the Palestinian Authority, the United Nations, and diplomats from various embassies. Palestinians came from all over the West Bank and Israel, and a large contingent of Israelis came on the ToursInEnglish.com bus from Tel Aviv. This was truly a great showcase of Palestinian goodwill, hospitality, arts & crafts and coexistence at its best. The municipal hall was packed for the opening ceremonies, with standing room only and many people left outside. No-one minded because the beer was flowing and good humor prevailed. more New Tour - Jerusalem Old CityThe tour will emphasis the centrality of the Old City of Jerusalem to the three monotheistic religions and visit some of the visible icons of the Israeli Occupation. This includes existing and future Jewish settlements in the Muristan (Christian Quarter) and Muslim Quarter, with discussion of their background and implications. Homes in the Old City are purchased by the settlement organization, Ateret Cohanim, and populated by young, often radical national religious seminary students . . .
